It does not include software that is released by 3Com as a separately ordered product. This software upgrade offering enables you to take advantage of incremental software functionality that is provided by new software releases. When you purchase Software Upgrades Service you will be issued a contract number and password corresponding to your software entitlement. Use this number to download your software files, at your convenience, from the 3Com web site. The Software Upgrades Service has a one-year term with the option to renew in subsequent years. Along with the software, you are provided with the access to the documentation that offers installation instructions and a summary of the new features and problems that are addressed in that specific release.
