These are unique, space-saving peripheral sharing devices that can be used with printers, plotters, modems, and other serial or parallel devices using standard cables. Most standard switches take up too much desk space, but the vertical SlimSwitch has an unobtrusive footprint of only 6.5" x 3" that complements your other computer accessories. SlimSwitch features an enclosed data switch with durable rotary dial that is perfect for switching any type of parallel or serial device. Each unit has a high-impact plastic front panel, and the shielded metal enclosure provides extensive protection against environmental emissions and interference. They are fully reversible allowing connection of multiple PCs to a single-device, or a single PC to multiple devices. The DB25 connectors have all 25 lines connected straight-through and no power is required.
