The D-Link DU-A2 is a 2-port Universal Serial Bus USB PCI controller. It allows connection of up to 2 USB peripherals, devices, or USB hubs to a Windows 95 OSR2 or Windows 98 PC. The DU-A2 is targeted at users with older PCs that have no integrated USB support, and users with newer PCs who wish to add additional USB ports.The DU-A2 provides two type 'A' downstream ports for connecting USB peripherals and USB hubs. Configured directly by the operating system, the DU-A2 operates in accordance with Intel's UniversalHCI specification. Its 32-bit PCI architecture is compliant with PCI version 2.1. Attach Any USB Devices to Your PC As a standard USB host controller, it directly interfaces between the USB bus and the operating system. The DU-A2 operates as the root USB hub to provide two downstream interfaces. It will accept USB data from any attached peripherals, hubs, or other devices in compliance with USB Specification version 1.1.
