The Olympus CAMEDIA C-3040 Zoom uses a 3.34 megapixel, 1/1.8-inch CCD matched to its digital optical zoom to provide outstanding picture quality. Offering the same award-winning compact design and features of the best-selling C-3030 Zoom, the C-3040 Zoom has further improved the performance of its high resolution CCD with its newly designed world's first super-bright F1.8 multi-element aspherical glass 3x zoom lens. This new design allows the C-3040 Zoom to achieve an extended flash working range and better low-light shooting capability to help deliver one of the highest levels of picture quality available in a 3-megapixel camera. Though the C-3040 Zoom includes features found in its predecessor such as auto and manual white balance, black-and-white or sepia shooting modes, auto exposure bracketing and QuickTime movie mode, there are also many enhancements.
