Network managers worldwide rely on the MediaConverter series when converting copper to fiber or multi-mode to single-mode fiber optics. MediaConverter is the most cost-effective, flexible solution for everyday fiber networking in the LAN, campus network, outside plant and MAN applications. McLIMs provide a single conversion between 100 Mbps Fast Ethernet twisted pair and multi-mode or single-mode fiber. McLIM TP-TX/FX provides a single conversion between 10 Mbps or 100 Mbps Ethernet twisted pair and 100 Mbps multi-mode or single-mode fiber. McLIMs include troubleshooting features such as LinkLoss and FiberAlert that make isolating fiber breaks easier should they occur. To ensure compatibility with other networking hardware, McLIMs feature Auto-Negotiation.
