Logitech offers you the radio technology cordless gamepad for the PC platform - the Logitech WingMan Cordless Gamepad. Like today's most advanced cordless phones, the Logitech WingMan Cordless Gamepad incorporates 2.4 GHz technology. While in operation, the receiver and cordless gamepad are always "channel hopping," as they constantly check each other's channel to confirm that the connection is reliable and interference-free. Up to eight different gamepads can be used in the same room at the same time, and when the gamepad is no longer being used, it goes into "sleep" mode to save battery life. Sleep mode can be overridden by pressing any button. Dual analog sticks and a precise 8-way D-pad provide outstanding directional control, while two small motors in the handles of the gamepad vibrate independently to give simulated environmental effects. A dedicated "rumble" button turns the vibration feature off when not used. A convenient throttle is included in the new design, as are 11 programmable buttons.
