Get the highest level of system fault tolerance available in the networking industry with SFT III for NetWare 4.2. SFT III software in included on the NetWare 4.2 CD. In order to install SFT III for NetWare 4.2, new customers must obtain a license for SFT III for 4.2 based on the number of users who will be using the Server. Licenses are available in two stratifications: 10 users or less, and more than 100 users. SFT III for NetWare 4.2 is fault-tolerance software you can use to connect two identical NetWare servers as a mirrored pair. With SFT III for NetWare 4.2, if the hardware of the primary server fails, the other server will continue to supply all network services transparently without any network downtime. With SFT III for NetWare 4.2 the network supervisor can perform network maintenance and fault simulation without taking the network down. SFT III offers optional dual processor support, additional protocol support (including TCP/IP), an alternate Mirrored Server Link channel, and group notification. In addition, SFT III for NetWare 4.2 supports ManageWise and Storage Management Solution-compatible backup solutions. SFT III for NetWare 4.2 is compatible with standard, off-the-shelf PC hardware. It works best with LAN adapters below the Fast Ethernet level.
