The 3Com Single-Port IEEE 802.3at Gigabit PoE Midspan Solution provides power over standard Category 5 or 5e Ethernet cabling to IEEE 802.3at-compliant devices that require a Gigabit connection. This inline power source installs in the switch closet, eliminating an exposed power supply and extra wiring at the workspace. Less vulnerable to damage or tampering than a local power supply, it can save an organization time and money. Diagnostic LEDs confirm proper operation and facilitate troubleshooting. 3Com Single-Port IEEE 802.3at Gigabit PoE Midspan Solution can be used with 3Com devices such as 3Com IntelliJack Gigabit Switch NJ1000 and 3Com IntelliJack Gigabit Switch NJ2000.
