The OmniStack 6300 series is the ideal solution for an enterprise looking for a value-based, standalone switch in the Gigabit to the desktop environment, as a cost-effective layer 2 aggregation platform, or in small to medium data center operations. With triple-speed capability and built-in combo ports (four 10/100/1000 or four mini-GBIC) the medium to large enterprise can now simultaneously protect its current investment and migrate to the future seamlessly with Gigabit Ethernet. The OmniStack 6300 provides wire-rate layer 2 forwarding with intelligent layer 3 and layer 4 services to the desktop to deliver increased network performance, improved application response times, and enhanced user productivity by maximizing network capacity over existing Category 5 cabling.
