Asanté offers a full line of IEEE 802.3 compliant Ethernet transceivers for connecting computers, workstations and other peripherals with an AUI port to a 10BaseT, 10Base2 or 10BaseF Ethernet network. These compact Mini MAUs will plug directly onto the back of your PC, Macintosh or any other networking device with a MAU interface, eliminating unwieldy cabling. They even slide right into the recessed MAU slots of the AsantéHub 2072's dual height 10BaseT and 10BaseF repeater modules. Without protruding from the front of the 2072, the Mini MAUs provide uplinks to unshielded twisted-pair, thin and fiber-optic network backbones.
