ARCserve 2000 Tape Library Option provides flexible, unattended operations by optimizing the capabilities of tape libraries or autoloaders. ARCserve 2000's Tape Library Option supports multiple drive libraries and is required for the Storage Area Network Option. The number of libraries that can be installed on one computer is limited only by the computer's available resources and system performance. Libraries and single-drive tape drives may be installed on the same computer, attached to the same or different host adapters. ARCserve 2000 can send simultaneous data streams to all drives to optimize throughput on any multiple drive library. In addition, ARCserve 2000 Tape Library Option, delivers advanced tape management and scheduling features including the ability to choose a particular date or range of dates for tape based copy and extended virtual library support. MASTER LICENSE PROGRAM The Computer Associates (CA) Master License Program (MLP) is a high-volume software license program that offers substantial discounts on CA software.
