Compaq network controllers are tested to operate on a wide variety of industry-standard platforms. The card's flexibility is increased by allowing users to swap PC Cards to change functionality. Integrated Power Management allows portable users to operate on portable battery for longer period without recharge. Full-duplex transfer support (for 10Mb/s PC Cards) increases network transfer rate up to 20Mb/s. PC Card Plug and Play offers easy installation, eliminates conflict with other installed cards.
