The DES-6508 is a 16-port 10/100BASE-TX Ethernet module for the DES-6500 chassis switch. Designed to take full advantage of the DES-6500 chassis switch's advanced network functions that link core switches together, this 10/100BASE-TX module provides 16 RJ-45 ports for workstation connections. All ports support auto-sensing 10/100Mbps dual speeds, full/half duplex and auto-MDI/MDIX plug and play installation. The DES-6508 10/100BASE-TX module fully complies with IEEE 802.3/802.3u and 802.3x standards.
