The ELSA LANCOM DSL/1610 Office Internet access router enables all users in a local network to be quickly and easily connected to high-speed Internet accesses (e.g. DSL or cable modems) using PPPoE or a simple Ethernet. With plug&play installation via the web browser-supported configuration tool ELSA WEBconfig, cost transparency and control through online displays, detailed accounting of connection data for all workstations as well as the SYSLOG function, the LANCOM DSL/1610 Office meets all the demands of a sophisticated Internet link-up and is a complete office communication solution for small and medium-sized enterprises. On the LAN side, the router supports a 10/100-Mbps fast Ethernet interface and IP masquerading provides extensive firewall filters and security functions that ensure optimal access protection for the local network. An intelligent charge management function with automatic connection administration to the provider offers protection from unnecessary connection charges. The standardized TCP/IP protocol eliminates the need to install drivers on workstation computers.
