Eicon offers Lasat Speed Basic. This device is the ISDN modem with both a serial (RS232) and a USB port. With the USB facility, you can connect and disconnect the ISDN modem without having to restart the computer ("Hot Plug"). Speed Basic is designed to suit all types of computers and furthermore all types of operating systems: Windows 95/98/2000 and NT. With Speed Basic, you reach a communications speed of up to 128 Kbps, using both ISDN lines and 64 Kbps, using only one ISDN line for data transmission. Practically, Speed Basic is thus 3 times as fast as a 56K analog modem. Speed Basic enables you to connect two computers sharing the same Internet access - surfing at speeds of up to 64Kbps (1 ISDN channel). Moreover, Speed Basic supports as much as 8 MSN numbers (extra telephone numbers).
