Powered by the latest Intel Pentium 4 CPU, the i-Buddie is the first P4 DeskNote computer in the world that offers the perfect computing power and incredible performance to professional users. The i-Buddie can easily handle the most memory-hungry applications. The i-Buddie features high-speed data transmission, providing users with efficient and enhanced connectivity through IEEE 1394 and USB 2.0 ports. The i-Buddie also comes with both build-in 56K V.90 modem and 10/100Base-T LAN networking so that web surfing and e-mail retrieval can be done anywhere and anytime. Together with a huge 15.0" XGA / SXGA+ TFT LCD display, the i-Buddie provides high quality visuals and maximum viewing area with 1024x768 / 1400x1050 resolutions. The S-Video TV-Out function is built-in for easier management of business presentations or high performance home entertainment system with TV-Out capabilities. Two high quality stereo speakers with chamber are built in to provide ideal audio capability. In addition to 6 LED indicators, the i-Buddie also offers 2 shortcut keys allowing you to retrieve e-mail and surf the internet with just one touch of the button. Furthermore, the i-Buddie is designed to have a number of upgrade options such as CPU, HDD, memory and optical device. To close the i-Buddie, just gently push down the LCD cover. The rim of the cover provides a magnet, which attracts the hidden latch located on the edge of the body. When the latch is magnetized, this will hook and lock the LCD cover instantly. The i-Buddie is designed to suit a variety of people. With a color combination of appealing high-tech silver and light purple. the i-Buddie is neither too flashy to bring to the office nor too dull to use it at school with friends.
