This network adapter provides support for IPSec encryption and decryption of LAN traffic from and to the PC in Windows 2000 environments thus protecting sensitive data over the network and reduces theft and intrusion to corporate networks. It can be used to offload and accelerate IPSec functions, resulting in much higher throughput with low CPU utilization thanks to high throughput and low CPU utilisation in demanding server environments. Redundant links help avoid server downtime from the network.
