The 16P DB MULTIPLEXER SET provides sixteen DB255 serial I/O COM ports over extended distances over low grade cabling yet provide very high EMI tolerance. The package includes Multiplex Interface Module (MIM), a sixteen-port DB25 serial port multiplexer (CMX), and a PS4 power supply. The MIM connects to the SST128 PCI ADAPTER via the 4-foot host bus cable (provided with the adapter) in the place of a PORT MODULE. The MIM and CMX are inter-connected via a Category 2 (or above) phone cable attached to each device via an RJ11 connector. The enclosed PS4 power supply is used to power the CMX. A second PS4 power supply is required to provide power MIM modules.
