Xircom 56K Integrated PC Card features high performance Modem that speeds up to 56 Kbps using either V.90 or 56Kflex standards. The integrated modem and telephone handset pass-through connectors provide reliable connectivity. You use standard RJ-11 telephone cable to connect. BatterySave advanced power management adjusts adapter to low-power sleep mode when not connected to a network for longer battery life. Wake-on-Ring reduces power consumption by detecting the ring of an incoming call and allowing receipt of information when the system is powered down. LEDs provide status information at a glance. Telephone handset pass-through allows receipt of incoming calls without disconnecting modem cable. GlobalACCESS feature includes extensive country approvals and CountrySelect software, which automatically configures modem to local dialing conventions.
