By combining UMTS, WLAN, DSL and VPN, the UMTS/WLAN router Lancom 3850 UMTS opens up extremely flexible possibilities of enterprise connectivity - including temporary conference rooms at congresses, mobile offices on construction sites, or for consultants on location with their clients. Via UMTS/HSDPA, the Lancom 3850 UMTS provides professional Internet access or, in combination with VPN, it provides secure access to the company network. Apart from that, the solution can act as a UMTS backup to a standard DSL connection or it can bridge the “last mile” for customers who do not have access to an equivalent broadband connection by cable.
