Lotus Enterprise Integrator is a server-based data distribution product that enables high-performance scalable exchange of data between Lotus Domino and a large number of host and relational applications, including IBM DB2, Oracle, Sybase, Text, ODBC, and EDA/SQL data sources, as well as ERP applications. Lotus Enterprise Integrator is considered "middleware" to connect to and transfer information between Domino Connector enterprise sources on a scheduled or event driven basis. Lotus Enterprise Integrator (LEI) supports high-volume data exchange or synchronization, and complements the live access capabilities provided by Domino Enterprise Connection Services (DECS). The LEI product supports real-time "live" access to external Connector source data from Domino applications, via the RealTime Notes Activity, which is functionally equivalent to DECS.
