Avaya ORiNOCO USB Client provides high-speed wireless Internet Access and networking for USB enabled desktops anywhere, anytime. No need to open the desktop to install a wireless network, no worries about device conflicts, no searching for a power supply or vacant ISA or PCI slot. It's easy - users can have wireless connectivity simply by plugging the USB Client into a spare USB connector and installing the software on a desktop PC or notebook. That means: no desktop bus card installation, no looking for an ISA or PCI slot, no dealing with changing IRQs to avoid device conflicts, no need for a separate power supply. It's fast - the access point or residential gateway simply sends the radio signals to the USB Client. The USB Client receives them and transmits the signals to the desktop PC via the USB connector. Thus, when in reach of the residential gateway or access point, the USB Client provides high-speed wireless Internet access and networking. The ORiNOCO USB Client is compatible with Avaya's previous 2 Mbps and Turbo products. The USB Client works with all ORiNOCO infrastructure products: the Access Point for the enterprise, the Residential Gateway for the home/SOHO, and the Access Server for public access.
