With up to 320 GB of capacity, the MaxAttach NAS 4000 server cuts the cost and complexity of storage installation and management in Microsoft, UNIX and Linux networks. Ideal for growing companies, ISPs and ASPs, MaxAttach offers a simple three-step installation process, built-in RAID for data protection and up to 128 MB of SDRAM. MaxAttach is ideal for space-constrained network closets, occupying a mere 1.75" height. Multiple MaxAttach servers with nearly 1 terabyte of aggregate capacity occupy just 5.25"of rack space. MaxAttach NAS 4000 installs in 10 minutes and offers direct access to system management and configuration tools via a Web browser. In addition, the MaxAttach discovery wizard makes managing multiple storage units easy. It displays the server identity, current system status and IP addresses. And, the Maxtor Fast Find feature makes it a cinch to identify a specific device in a rack.
