The NVIDIA Quadro FX 4500 SDI by PNY featuring NVIDIA PureVideo technology is the ideal solution for on-air HD broadcast graphics applications ranging from virtual-sets, sports, and weather news systems to compositing live video footage onto virtual backgrounds and sending the result to live video for TV broadcast. Postproduction finishing and film production professionals can preview, in real-time on HD broadcast monitors, the result of 3D compositing, editing, and color grading. This graphics-to-video-out solution delivers uncompressed 12-bit SDI directly from a powerful programmable graphics engine, enabling a direct connection to broadcast monitors, tape decks, or SDI projectors. Two channels, fill or key, of SDI uncompressed 8-, 10-, or 12-bit SDI are provided in 2K, HD, or SD formats, along with analog and digital house synchronization. Microsoft Windows and Linux support deliver platform choice, the ability to work on top of existing applications, or integration into in-house broadcast or video applications or workflows through NVIDIA's published API developer documentation. The revolutionary Quadro FX 4500 Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) delivers a radical architecture with 2x the geometry and fill rate and 4x the hardware pixel read-back performance of previous generation graphics processors. It supports 512MB of ultra-fast GDDR3 memory, and rotated grid full scene anti-aliasing (RG FSAA), for increased color accuracy and visual quality of edges and lines without compromising performance. By delivering the ultimate in quality, precision, performance, and programmability NVIDIA Quadro by PNY graphics boards enable a new level of interactivity in broadcast and DCC applications.
