Panasnonic DVD Recorders with built-in hard disks allow recordings to be made to DVD-RAM or DVD-R discs. Using a DVD-RAM disc it is possible to record EP mode for up to 12hours (6 both sides) on a 9.4GB double-sided disc. On a DVD-R disc it is possible to record in EP mode for up to 6hours on a 4.7GB disc. DVD-RAM technology also enables advanced functions such as Time Slip - simultaneous record and playback.
