The Gigaset H487data is a USB-Adapter for wirelessly accessing the Internet (via DSL or cable) with the base station Gigaset H4800data and other PCs or notebooks. The Gigaset H487data is connectable to either a desktop PC or laptop via a USB port, therefore no additional cabling or power supply is needed. Together with a Gigaset H4800data and a DSL or cable modem, the Gigaset H487data enables up to 8 PCs to surf the net simultaneously at DSL-speed, using just a single Internet connection. In addition to that, this USB-Adapter allows access to the data of other PCs in the network (file sharing) or to share external devices such as printers or scanners. The device provides simple installation and configuration of the network which is password protected.
