If you frequently work on files away from your main computer (using your home PC or your notebook on the road, for example), you can use the SYNC button together with the Freecom SYNC software (uses Microsoft Briefcase) to synchronize files when you have finished working on them. When you reconnect your FHD-1 to your main computer and press the SYNC button, the Freecom SYNC software automatically detects if files have been changed and prompts you to update these files on your computer or network to the modified versions.
