The indoor building-to-building bridge is designed for connecting LANs in large open interiors such as warehouses or linking adjacent buildings. Deployed along with 3Com 11g 54Mbps Wireless LAN Outdoor Building-to-Building Bridges, they provide an intelligent, economical solution for connecting building LANs in campus-like settings. The 11g 54 Mbps bridge delivers five times the bandwidth of 11b links and supports up to 1000 clients. It operates in a either point-to-point or point-to-multipoint configuration to meet growth and specific application demands. 3Com SuperStack 3 Switch 4400 PWR Power over Ethernet (PoE) switch, IntelliJack PoE power sources, or other PoE injectors can supply both power and data to the bridge over network cabling. WPA and AES encryption provide the latest industry- standard high security while WEP encryption supports legacy wireless installations. The wireless bridge also supports the latest 802.1X server authentication. VPN and VLAN support keeps network data private and transmissions safe from security breaches. Setup wizard software makes installation and configuration easy.
