The new USB dongles provide an extremely simple way for business users and consumers to add Bluetooth connectivity to computing devices ranging from desktops, notebooks, media center PCs as well as any other device with a USB port. With BT-DG03 inserted into a computer running Windows 98SE, ME, 2000, or XP, a user can connect wirelessly to Bluetooth-equipped peripherals and personal information devices-such as mobile phones, PDAs, and printers. With a built-in antenna and able to draw power from the USB port, the BT-DG03 is self-contained Bluetooth communications module that is compliant with the 1.1 version of the Bluetooth specification.
