LaCie USB CD-RW drives are specially designed for the computers with USB interface. Users of MacOS or Windows 98 will benefit from the convenience of the plug & play features of USB, including the freedom to hot-plug the drive while the computer is running - no restarting is required. USB CD-RW drives are also suitable for connection to iMac computers. A CD-RW drive is just like a CD-R drive but with one important difference: you can also use special rewritable CD-RW discs, which means you can re-use the discs to store fresh data.
