NetIQ's Security Manager 4.1 provides extended support for Monitoring UNIX platforms. Host Intrusion Detector now supports Solaris OE, enabling it to detect, collect, and alert you to important security events in real-time, and allowing you to take corrective action quickly. It also allows you to monitor important events on the Solaris 8 and 9 Operating Environments, and from the Basic Security Module (BSM) and syslog. An enhanced Incident Management Console includes a left pane from which you can select all available alert views. You can also access custom alert views created in the Monitor Console. In addition, when you select an alert view, the Incident Management Console displays a description of the alert view.
