Nortel Networks Business Communications Manager is an IP enabled business communications system. It brings together voice, data and powerful business solutions onto a single unified solutions platform, delivering big business features, cost effectively, to the small/medium business customer. Business Communications Manager provides a wide range of telephony features, which can be accessed using a portfolio of highly featured ultra reliable business telephones. This convergence communications solution supports all ISDN interfaces to the public telephone network and also voice over IP to the wide area network, through its 'integrated IP trunk. Voicemail is also provided as standard, along with automated attendant and custom call routing. MicroCellular Data Network (MCDN) is a unique combination of several individual elements. This includes subscriber devices, microcell radios, wired access points, network interconnect facilities, gateways, name server, and a network operations center. MCDN technology provides the fastest wireless mobile access solution today or projected for the near future. The QSIG protocol stack is ANSI C source code that is used by developers of communications products. QSIG is a set of standards that defines an intelligent inter-PBX signaling system.
