Breaking the boundaries and opening up a new world of digital imaging, Olympus releases a sensational new digital photography system with astounding price-performance. Until recently, it was the declared intention of Olympus to design digital cameras that were the equal of their analog counterparts. Led by the E-10 digital SLR and a selection of specially designed accessories, Olympus writes a new chapter in the history of digital photography. Providing the ultimate DI experience, the E-10 digital SLR excels with a real resolution of 4 megapixels. Covering 2/3 of an inch, its large area enables more light to be captured while the RGB filter is suited to recording in vivid colors. The extraordinarily bright 4x zoom lens has been tailor-made to exploit the stunning imaging capabilities of the camera's large CCD. Comprising 14 multi-coated elements, including two high-index low dispersion, two aspherical and one special ED (Extra-low Dispersion) lens, the optical system ensures sharp, clear shots even at maximum magnification. Among the numerous image capture modes, the non-compress (TIFF) or raw data CCD modes are an ideal choice when aiming for the highest detail.
