Combining ISDN performance with state-of-the-art V.Everything and x2 analog technology, the U.S. Robotics Courier I-modem with V.Everything brings high-speed, error-free connectivity to a wide range of desktops and servers. Ideal for field offices and telecommuters, this dual-purpose ISDN terminal adapter with integrated analog fax/modem gives you digital connections at 128 Kbps and analog connections up to 56 Kbps. And it's easy to use, automatically identifying and connecting both ISDN and analog calls. Reduced call setup and tear-down times mean you'll connect more quickly and avoid the frustration of switching among multiple analog and ISDN devices. What's more, its 230.4 Kbps DTE (or over 512 Kpbs with auto pass-through) capability lets you take full advantage of ISDN's speed potential. Designed to maximize time and save money, the Courier I-modem eliminates the need for additional equipment or configuration. With full ringing support for up to five phones, you get a complete office solution in one device. You'll enjoy universal connectivity to ISDN and analog modems and fax machines, while an analog device port (ADP) allows you to send or receive voice, data, and fax calls simultaneously. The award-winning Courier I-modem with V.Everything is the easiest way to move up to ISDN speeds while keeping seamless analog connectivity. In server mode, capable of sending at up to 56 Kbps and receiving at up to 31.2 Kbps. In server-to-server (symmetric x2) mode, can send and receive at up to 56 Kbps or 64 Kbps. Actual speeds you experience may be lower due to varying line conditions. Maximum sending speeds (in server mode) in the U.S. and Canada are limited to 53K, due to regulatory limits on power output.
